The Emotional Wellness project will provide an environment that will support our Multi-Tier System of Support. This is a new initiative focused on helping students identify and express their emotions in a safe environment. My role is to work with students K-8th who are dealing with social, emotional, academic and familial challenges. These items that are requested will assist my students with self regulation, develop healthy interpersonal relationships in and out of the classroom, and to encourage students to build rapport with our Social Emotional Learning Team. This project provides all of the tools through cards, games, toy therapy, books, and sensory mechanisms, to ensure students develop healthy ways to express themselves.
