This grant will help students fulfill all four of the national and nevada state art standards of : Creating Art Creatively expressing their ideas Presenting Art Displaying Art in public setting Responding to Art Talking about what they did with others Connecting to Art Taking ownership and Pride in what they created. During the covid our art students have lost many opportunities to express their creative voices in public forums. Prior to the covid our students were very active in participating in art contests and public displays of art. While opportunities are available the resources and skills students need to successfully display their creativity have been negatively effected. With this grant I would like to provide my students the opportunity to enrich their creative art experiences and provide for some creative outlets to display their work.

About my class
