My students are always asking me when we will have a carpet. As of right now we don’t have a carpet in the classroom so when they are able to come sit up front it’s on the cold hard floor. They love being able to get out of their seats to sit and lay on the floor during story time or when watching The Magic School Bus. When they are allowed to be out of their seats and desks they pay attention so much more. It gives them a chance to relax and enjoy the story for English class.
