Noise cancelling headphones to use with our Chromebooks will allow my students the opportunity to concentrate on programs without distractions. Many of my students don't have listening devices so they have difficulty hearing the sound from the computer without distracting their peers. Some of my students are reluctant to use the programs without listening devices. Math games will not only help with building a strong foundation of strategy related thinking, but it will also allow my students to work on much needed social skills. Social emotional learning is more important than it has ever been since the pandemic began.
