When many of our students and teachers may need to take a quick break, I would love it if I could awaken the dead gated rooftop garden to serve as a calm and safe space. Also, during spring or summer, it would be amazing if our teachers had an area to let their students do gardening or some type of brief outside-based activity and have a place to go. When some of our students desperately need a calm space to speak with their social worker and/or therapist, this Garden will serve as another safe space that can be used for such purposes! I just need help in transforming this dead Garden into our new school garden that will serve as a calm and relaxing safe space!
