Through COVID our students have weathered trying times and unprecedented situations. All of them are changing and adapting to learning in different ways. While they are in need of assistance with their academics, my focus is their social emotional well-being. Socially emotionally competent humans make a better world. I help students recognize their emotions and the emotions of others. As well as learning what to do with their emotions and how to handle their relationships with others. All of these tools will help me in teaching them vital skills for their lives. Some of these materials will be used as prizes or incentives during my whole class guidance time to make learning more interactive and fun. Students need social emotional skills presented in a fun way that feels like they aren't even learning, but experiencing life.
