I am requesting flexible seating options and hands-on materials for math. Our class will use number lines, ten frames, and addition and subtraction machines to help with our standard 1.OA.B.3 Apply properties of operations as strategies to add and subtract, and with K-2-ETS1-2 Develop a simple sketch, drawing, or physical model to illustrate how the shape of an object helps it function as needed to solve a given problem. Flexible seating options are for students to sit more comfortably around the classroom. Post-it charts are excellent for making anchor charts to help students remember previous lessons. Smelly stickers and stamps are to help make learning more fun!
