My Kindergarten students, that I work with, have many obstacles culturally and linguistically. These students thrive in hands-on educational environments using manipulatives, sights, and sounds. The learning materials I requested will impact my students daily enhancing their learning. These materials will give my students the hands-on materials they need to be successful in phonemic awareness and fluency. The Language Instant Learning Centers will be used daily during intervention centers. These learning centers will develop skills in rhyming sounds, beginning sounds, story sequencing, letter recognition, building words, syllable counting, sight words, and simple sentences. The centers have everything my students need to build beginning language skills—from word building and rhyming sounds to sight-word recognition. Flip Books will help with developing skills in phonics and decoding. The touch and read CVC will develop skills in isolating sounds in CVC words, blending sounds and decoding words. All of the materials will assist my students build their knowledge and phonemic language skills enhancing their exposure. Many of my students struggle with letter and sound recognition, with the hands-on materials, they can thrive and be engaged when learning concepts of print, decoding, and overall phonics, ultimately assisting them with becoming future fluent readers. Our classroom appreciates any support, thank you so much.
