We want to bring our students out of their shells, helping them be more involved it everything that today's SCHOOL means! The card games such as UNO, Phase 10, Monopoly Deal and S.T.O.R.M, will help with the students communicating together in small groups and one-on-one. Twister, Scrabble and Yatzee integrate co-operation and understanding. The drawing paper, pens and pencils make it easier for the students to creatively express their emotions. With the outdoor activities (Ladder toss, Basketball and Table tennis) we will be able to help our students work together on their sportsmanship, while keeping them physically active. These items will help in my Flex classroom to help with socialization and creativity. We are trying hard to meet each student where they are, and lead them into being the best they can be. Whether in the classroom learning standards or with their integration back into the social aspect of being at school, our students need the means to become active in communicating with their peers.
