Students need access to a wide variety of texts to become more diverse learners. This project will allow our school library to purchase more books in order to provide this need. We allowed students to take books home during the shutdown of 2020 and did not receive all of these books back. We are glad that students have these texts at home, but we want our students to have access to some of these books in the classroom too now that we are fully re-opened. Teachers will also have access to these books to use in their daily lessons. Getting books into students hands is our overall goal.
