I am asking for 5 noise-muffling headphones and 5 noise-cancelling headphones to be used by our programs for students with Autism. Currently we have students who both make lots of noise as a part of their self-soothing routines, and we have students that are very sensitive to and frustrated by noise. It is really important to their teams to make sure all students can stay in their classrooms where they can do their best learning. These headphones provide a continued opportunity for students to make noise if that is soothing to them, and allow our students who are sensitive to noise to soothe themselves as well. They are such a valuable tool for us to make sure each student has the best opportunities to learn, thank you so much for your donation!
