When in small groups, my students are currently sitting in the hallway with no desks on standard chairs and trying to learn with just a paper sized dry erase in their lap. This project will provide a 6 seat table, a large whiteboard on wheels with magnetic letters/numbers, 10 comfort lap desk options, and for our kiddos that need to fidget while learning: two adjustable standing desks, and 4 sets of feet to make standard chairs 'bouncy' These seating options will allow for students being more focused, healthy and safe in and out of the classroom. All students will be working on various skills including writing: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.6.3 - Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, relevant descriptive details, and well-structured event sequences. They will be able to enhance social emotional learning wit a more comfortable space to focus and enrich their skills.
