The aprons and hats in this project will help my students look professional while they are working in the cafeteria and student store. Our class helps build business leadership skills while working a variety of jobs in the school. Our students have to wear certain equipment because of Covid and health regulations but don’t look professional in those garments. I’m hoping that with the aprons and hats, they will take pride in their appearance and work which will help them understand CCRS speaking standard 2: speaking and collaborate with others in different medias. The scanners will also help them learn different skills in the business world. The students have to create programs using bar codes so they can take inventory of the items in the store as well as how much we spend.
