In my classroom we work on the Nevada Academic Content Standards for ELA, including writing. We write everyday! My students were at home for distance learning for 17 months. Now that we are back in the classroom, we have 80 minute class periods to make up for any learning deficits. That is a very long time for the students to sit in one location. I want to offer them a variety of seating options in my classroom. These tables will provide them with a standing option while they are working. My students will be able to gather at a standing table to collaborate and peer edit their writing pieces.
