If you could, wouldn't you love to open the pages of a History book and see it all come alive before your eyes? The students are MVMS will study the culture, history, and lives of people from around the World. We live in a small community and many of our students have never, and will never leave our area. Virtual Reality Apps will allow students to tour the streets of their chosen country, view the historical sites, and begin to understand the lives of people who are different from them. Gaining an appreciation and passion for the world around them. Students will create oral presentations and tri-fold board displays to put on a Cultural Fair for their peers. The elementary students in our area will come and "Travel the World" with my students are their guides. The VR will be connected to TV screens that will walk us through the streets of Rome, inspire students with wonder as they tour the Taj Mahal and build understanding for people just like them all over the world.
