I am requesting five Singer sewing machines. Teaching Life Skills is new to me and I can't wait to share my passion for sewing with my students. Sewing is such a great way for students to learn a multitude of skills. In learning how to sew, students will practice following directions and practice practical math skills. By donating to our project, you will help to introduce students to the joy of sewing which will help them to express their creativity, practice patience, a build self-confidence. Learning how to sew is a skill that has been traditionally taught as part of the home economics domains and I would love to be able to start my classes off with some basic knowledge in this area. Thank you for considering our project!
