All of my students want to earn rewards for their hard work. They want to be recognized and they want to have somewhere to sit at other than a desk. By giving my students flexible seating they will be more engaged and they will increase their attention span. By giving students a mini pop-it or a mini-squishie students will be able to discreetly play with it while they are doing their work and they will also be working hard because they are going to want to take it home. They are allowed to do this if they earn a certain amount of points on their point charts. Students earn points for staying in their area, working hard, and for being ready to learn. Students who are not on behavior charts are still able to earn rewards with out classroom reward system, which is points on DOJO. Students are able to redeem points on Wednesdays and Fridays.
