I've been teaching my classes chess for the past few years. My students are always eager to learn and practice. The challenge that we are having is that we only have one set for a class of 32 students. With this project, we will be able to begin having in class tournaments, which is something that my students have been wanting to do. Furthermore, the alternate seating solutions will be used to provide students the freedom to shape their independent learning environment by being able to either take a stool to an open table or a cushion to work on the carpet.
