We will create task boxes which have activities for students to use independently. This gives them the feeling of success because they can accomplish things without assistance. These activities align with Nevada Academic Content Standards for each student on their independent level. It allows them the opportunity to progress at their level with sustainability to remember the skills they learned through repeated practice. Students who do not think or learn the same way as typically developing students, they need additional supplies that are not always cheap or easy to come by. We want durable lasting materials that will grow with the students while keeping them engaged in learning. We will create activities at the students individual levels that will help them grow and be successful in the future.
