These materials will help my students to grow academically. Most of my students are kinesthetic learners, which means the hands-on manipulatives will help them tremendously. Some of the materials will help build our classroom centers, and I also can use them for small groups. I can use the letters textiles to help with letter and sound recognition and blend CVC words. Most of the products that I selected will help my students become more proficient readers and math students. For example, the whisper phones will allow students to hear themselves as they read. Each student will have a personal whisper phone to use. I also ordered a lot of reading games and math games. While I am working with my small group, the other students can play learning games. Kindergarten is the foundation of education. I want to give my kindergarten students a solid academic foundation. I also order some big books for our class library. We will use our new big books to learn about characters, main ideas, key details, and sequences. We all know that books are vital for kindergartners' academic growth.
