These headphones will allow my students to experience learning the piano/keyboard without the distraction of competing with 14 other sources of sound. This would help tremendously by allowing students the ability to hear themselves while learning and playing songs, scales etc. With the use of cleaning products, I would be able to rotate a class set while I disinfect the other set due to COVID protocols. As today's youth are faced with many challenges, the arts, and specifically music allow them an opportunity to express and articulate their feelings, emotions, thoughts and dreams. The students at Malcolm X Elementary School would benefit a great deal from these headphones because it will allow them to focus on and develop the skills needed to demonstrate and display their inner musical voices.
