We are focusing on the total body, total mind. This project will help fund equipment to help our kids get fit and build esteem and overall health. All can’t go to the gym or afford memberships, but here at school, they will have the opportunity to work out 1-2 times a week. The equipment to be purchased, such as the weights, will help with building muscular strength and the ladders will help to increase speed and fitness. Our goal is to get them started on a lifelong journey of fitness, more than playing games and sports in middle school PE. This project gives the students an opportunity to destress and focus on themselves so their minds are in a better place when they leave.
