The band is in need of reeds, valve and slide oil, and slide grease for their instruments. We have so many parents that have trouble getting these items for their children or even have trouble with transportation to the music stores to get them and then these children have to participate only partially in the learning and fun in band class. They need reeds to play (and not squeak!) and oil/grease to keep their instruments moving properly so they can play! With these items donated to them to use- the students will have NO hindrances between what they and their instrument can accomplish together! The students will be able to use these in class, in concerts, and also at home. This will promote their excitement in their individual learning and we will be able to accelerate the growth of our ensembles! We will be able to track this improvement in our assessments and performances. Please support us in making more music!
