These lights will enable the students to see their music on stage. When the auditorium was constructed, some of the overhead lights were cut out of the budget. The result is that there are shadows on the music that the students have to contend with. Also, as we grow as a program, these lights will enable the students to participate in other types of musical performances. Examples include pit orchestra, symphonic orchestra, and small ensembles such as quartets and pops in the park. These lights are rechargeable so that would eliminate any chance of batteries being left in them. This project will enhance our program not only in the classroom but in performance venues as well.
