I’m hoping that as students (and teachers) return to “normal life” after Covid that also my expectations of great learning can as well. Students have had their education interrupted by a pandemic and a major disaster ( Hurricane Ida) I’m hoping the items I’ve requested will enable students to interact with other students to boost their social and emotional skills. Building things together will foster cooperative skills that will enable them to use those skills in whole and small group learning. Learning how to self- calm with some of the items I’ve requested will assist those students that haven’t learned that skill- again so they can join the whole or small group successfully.
