As first year teaching I believe that all of the items have chosen with be amazing additions to my classroom and will play a huge part in my students learning journey this year. By donating to this project you will be helping me create the best learning environment possible for my students this year and for many years to come. You will be helping a first year teacher gain classroom resources that will benefit so many students now and in the future. My students have such a wide range of strengths and abilities and in our class, we heavily focus on social-emotional learning, functional math and ELA skills, and basic life skills. The wide range of materials I have chosen represents all of these concepts. With the books, I have chosen students will be able to read stories to help them express their feeling as well as stories they find comforting and familiar when they are feeling overwhelmed. The math actives I chose will engage my students in fun games that help build on their foundational math knowledge. The writing activities will help strengthen their writing skills and letter knowledge. Thank you for considering my project!
