I am requesting yoga ball chairs and dry erase boards. Recent studies have shown that when exercise balls are used as chairs in classrooms, there are many benefits. Benefits include reduced fidgeting, better focus, improved posture from students, and increased test scores. (BDN, 2018). In addition, students with special needs exhibit less hyperactivity, and have fewer problems paying attention in school when using these balls and chairs. I am hoping that by provide these seats for my students, their attention will improve, as well as their concentration. By keeping their bodies busy, I am hoping their minds will become more open to their learning. .
