As teachers we have all noticed how distance learning, caused by COVID, has left the students unprepared to succeed in mastering of the standards. My goal is for my students to develop a love for learning and especially reading. These supplies and materials cover many standards such as Rl.1.1, RL.1.2, Rl.1.3, Rf1.4 these are standards involving reading fluency and comprehension. These supplies will also help in math standard such as 1.OA.1, 1.OA.C.6 which involves fluency and comprehension of math. My students need access to things such as whiteboards, whiteboard markers, and math and reading supplies to enhance their learning. Having the right tools will help my students be successful and make the gains necessary both academically and socially. The treasure box items will be used to help reward students for making positive choices towards their learning. By rewarding our students for attendance, hitting goals, and persevering we know they will have more ownership of their learning. Help me give my students the opportunity to come back stronger than ever!
