We are asking for a Cricut machine and color printer so that students can enhance their learning by creating art projects. With 58.2% English Language Learners in our school, our youngest learners need motivation to learn English in a fun and creative way. Instead of just writing with a pencil, which is a struggle for children with poor fine motor skills, we can use the Cricut to create beautiful stories, adding them to projects like cards or posters, then print them on the printer. Imagine their delight in making a Mother's Day card that looks professional - all while practicing WRITING! Additionally, 91% of our students are socio-economically disadvantaged and do not have access to school supplies. With the Cricut, we can provide personalized supplies for their use in the classroom, as well as offer them opportunities to make things to give their families as gifts. What a joy to see them brighten up when they are able to give something form their hearts!
