This project will use the following standards: Nevada Academic Content Library Standards for Information Literacy 5.C.1 Problem solve through cycles of design, implementation, and reflection. 5.C.2 Persist through self-directed pursuits by tinkering and making. Students will have to opportunity to engage in hands-on STEAM and makerspace activities in the library, an opportunity that was not afforded students during online and distance education. Many students have not been able to engage in hands-on learning during the pandemic, and this project will fill educational gaps in creative thinking, design thinking, and collaborative problem solving, including collaborative learning through educational games.
