In our school reading is very important. We use Renaissance to level and check students comprehension as they read which is a Nevada Academic Content Standard (RL.2.10, RI.2.10 and RF.2.4) The laptop, books and paper will help with increasing my students' reading. I will be able to test and keep track of how each of my students are reading and how they are doing on each book without having to use their Chromebook which will make it safer for the student and myself. My students love to read books. I have more students below grade level then in years past. I am looking for low level book that my student can read. With these items my students will be able to grow and continue to love to read.
