These chess sets will give students something more productive and educational than just roaming the street after school. Not only is chess a board game, but it also promotes skills like reasoning, strategy, and brain development. Moreover, it will be time spent bonding with another student who they may not normally have anything to do with during the day. Many of these students come from lower income families or not so good home life and this would give them a positive experience during their day. This opportunity is a win-win for students for both educational, emotional, and personal.

About my class
