I teach students with learning disabilities at Mater Academy Bonanza who have a need for specialized instruction and more scaffold support. My students need to have their lessons broken down for them into ways that become manageable. So, I try to promote a positive disposition in my students towards reading and math. By adapting curriculum for my special needs student using Accommodation with visual aids and technology. I foster hands-on learning involving repetition and practice which can be delivered in chunks to one student or to a group of students at the same time. Our classroom needs supplies for individualized and cooperative learning since their specific learning disabilities interferes with their normal learning process. My students have specific learning disabilities which hampers their ability to listen, think, speak, write, spell, and complete mathematics.
