These materials will allow me to be a better educator and help my students reach their standards. My goal is to guide my students to be effective citizens in our community. The Nevada Content Standards that will be implemented are reading literature RL 7.2 through 7.6, writing W 7.1 through 7.10, and math 7. My students struggle with reading at grade level and they are often embarrassed. My goal is to tailor each lesson to the students unique needs. A laptop will allow me to access information at home and bring well planned lessons to the classroom. My students are always left out and I want to show them that people actually do care about them. Through social emotional learning, I can help my students learn to cope with everyday stressors. A laptop will provide me with extra resources and tools that will benefit my students.
