The seats will help the students focus in class by giving them a silent fidget so they are able to focus and are able to grasp the 5th-grade math. The index cards and post-it notes will help the students in math with their multiplication facts as well as an understanding of place value. The notebooks and paper will also provide a place for students to take notes throughout the math lesson. The students will be able to use these tools to apply 5th-grade math to real-world applications. Math, 5th grade, 5.NBT.B Perform operations with multi-digit whole numbers and with decimals to hundredths.
