I teach a very diverse group of students in Maryland. My students are very curious and excited to learn new things. They love creating art and I'm often awed when looking at the products that they develop. In this project the second graders will illustrate books that describe the life cycle of the butterfly, which is something they are learning about in science. They will uses drawings, paintings, prints, and stamps to create their books.
