Their learning had more hands-on activities and fun thanks to you. The entire 5th grade student body was in awe when we shared the news at the total amount our generous donors were able to gift them in supplies. Thank you for sharing love and sparking their eyes. We have been able to host several arts-integration activities and have added engaging supplies to our indoor recess supplies in both fifth grade classrooms, along with an after-school mentoring program. Students love problem-solving with the rubik's cubes and building intricate race tracks for the Hot Wheels cars. \r\n\r\nPrior to our Thanksgiving and Winter breaks, we were able to host arts-and-crafts activities thanks to the supplies you gave us. It was heart-warming to hear student comments and see their creativity come to life (for some, it was the first time using such materials and they all tried their best to carefully design and decorate their items to gift to someone in their families). As seen in the pictures, they designed autumn-shaped wood chip ornaments and winter stocking decorations. Students have also really enjoyed the classroom reward stickers and other positive rewards items. These opportunities are what become memorable and create positive childhood moments. Thank you for helping us build on our positive classroom environment and foster and nice community opportunities for our students. We can't wait to keep surprising them with other items that your gift made possible (like to celebrate Pi Day, space learning in science class, Spring break crafts, and graduation goodie bags). \r\n\r\nThank you for making our students feel loved, proud, and like celebrities. Seriously, your gifts have meant the world to them and to their families. Every time we pull out supplies, they ask with a huge smile, \"Was this from the donors?!\" We really appreciate everything you've helped us create this year, and Spring 2026 will continue to be sprinkled by your generosity. We truly appreciate it! :)","fullyFundedDate":1759579317653,"projectUrl":"project/supplies-for-arts-integration-activities/9601675/","projectTitle":"Supplies for Arts Integration Activities & Social Emotional Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hernandez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8543039_orig.png?crop=398,398,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745896199193","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8543039"},{"teacherId":8543039,"projectId":9293471,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for making our Grade 5, Class of 2025 celebrations be extra special! Students felt much loved and were so excited to hear that people had helped purchase items for them. They treasured their goodie bags (with graduation stickers, party glasses, a star pen, and individual notebook). Students really LOVED making their own pinwheels. Many creative minds stepped up to help other each other AND they enjoyed running outside with them! The BIG \"We are so Proud of You\" banner was used in our 5th grade hallway and during our promotion day at the stage. Families were able to take pictures in front of it. In seeing the graduation banner displayed in our 5th grade hallway, younger grades also felt a sense of positive outlook and empowerment in wanting to do their best as well to get to that celebrated grade level. Our team was also able to secure informative and helpful math and science posters for the upcoming year. These will be extremely useful to provide visual reminders for students, along with small-group modeling and instruction. \r\n\r\nThank you for helping make all of this possible. Creating special moments for our students is extremely important to help foster a positive outlook in their education and motivate them moving forward. Our students, families and team were extremely happy and grateful for your support!
