We are using the materials to build sculptures. The wire and wooden blocks will be used to create a base for the sculptures. The scratch boards will be given as another medium besides paper for students to illustrate the art elements and design. This will be used as a home activity. The toner gives our students multiple options to see there work displayed through digital art. VA:Cr2.6.1 Demonstrate openness in trying new ideas, materials, methods, and approaches in making works of art and design. VA:Cr2.6.3 Design or redesign objects, places, or systems that meet the identified needs of diverse users. VA:Pr4.6.1 Analyze similarities and differences associated with preserving and presenting two dimensional, three-dimensional, and digital artwork. VA:Cr2.8.1 Demonstrate willingness to experiment, innovate, and take risks to pursue ideas, forms, and meanings that emerge in the process of artmaking or designing.
