These resources will help increase student engagement by giving students the hands interaction and practice they need after a difficult year of distanced learning. Providing different methods of learning will lead to better student understanding. The learning tubs for each letter will help gain a visual to connect with the letter’s beginning sound along with connect to the standard RF.K.2. The letter writing boards and sight word snap activity will help students promote accurate letter writing skills while hitting the standard W.K.1 to push students towards the goal of reading this school year. The addition activity will help students understand the concept of adding while encouraging number sense to meet the standard K.CC.A.3. Ultimately, these materials will help engage my students and encourage a love of learning by allowing new perspectives with fun activities.
