The items I am requesting for this project will allow me to print vocabulary cards for my English Language Learner lessons. It is so much easier for students to comprehend the meaning of a new word if they have a color picture to view. A color printer will also allow me to do specialized lessons that not only build vocabulary but increase the speaking and listening skills of the students at my school. The students will be able to do image reflections in small groups. This activity leads to collaborative discussions which are critical for building language. By donating to our project, you will open up a whole new world for my students. You will increase their knowledge of the world and their ability to communicate, both academically socially.
