Digital Game Design I 1.1.4, 1.1.5, 1.4.1, 1.4.2, 1.4.3, 2.1.3, 2.1.5, 2.4, 3.1, 3.2, and 3.4 It would be nice to be able to teach video game design when students can manipulate a finished product. My school is located in the most COVID-19 affected zip code in Las Vegas. I teach video game design. Using industry-popular equipment and media will allow my students to relate their learning towards a proven-successful finished product. Many of my students come from a low-income demographic. Some of them have had limited-to-no opportunity to experience successful video game properties. The media I chose for this project not only highlights the most successful properties, but students will be able to engage in actual level design in them. Therefore, these items will provide not only scaffolded support, but a supplement to the application of high-level game design content.
