All of our students want to be engaged in the classroom. Through hands-on STEM activities and authentic project-based learning, my students will have the opportunity to research and problem solve in an area they are passionate about-drinkable water! With the water testing kits, my students will be able to take on the role of local biologists, working through both the scientific method and the engineering cycle as they master Next Generation Science Standards. With the novels, students will make cross-curricular connections between science and the story of families who struggle to find clean water.

About my class
