I will use these materials to help motivate students who are low performers in their reading scores. These stickers, buttons, and other motivational materials will be distributed to the various 1,075 students that I provide services for at my school. As a learning strategist, I work with a variety of teachers and students to help close the achievement Gap that many students are facing at this time. The school I work has an average Lexile reading score of 628L. The average reading score for a 6th-grade student is 925L. We utilize a reading program that measures a student's reading Lexile. Many of the incentives that I have purchased will go to those students showing high growth.
