Girls on the Run is a national running program. It builds girls self-esteem, works to teach healthy lifestyles and to gets them active with running. The program is taught the same way all over the country, following the same lessons and practices. It is for girls in the 3rd grade up to the 8th grade. I would like to open a chapter at my elementary school. The students at my school can not afford the cost of the application ($75 - $25 based on income) and will almost certainly need running shoes as well as a few pieces of equipment for practices. The students at my school will benefit greatly from your kind donations.
