As a self-contained Autism teacher, these resources will continue to enhance the culinary-rich classroom that I strive to create. My cooking lessons is something that my students really enjoy. We usually cook twice a week. the first time is 'I do." and the second time is "We do together!" with the hopes of them being able to independently cook at home. With the cookbook, my students will have a resource to use and share while cooking at home with their families. I have seen how prevocational skills can positively affect my students work and demeanor. With this project, this will surely enable enhancement of such culinary skills. 12.0 To demonstrate lifelong-learning skills by continually acquiring new information and improving skills. [NS: 1.2] 7.0 To demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness by contributing new ideas and working with initiative. [NS: 1.1]
