As a school counselor, I am requesting 40 Navy blue jackets. In order for scholars to feel comfortable physically and emotionally, having a uniform jacket (Navy Blue) will allow our economically disadvaged scholars the comfort of fitting in to the uniform expectations. Have a jacket will also allow the scholar to be comfortable at bus stops or walking to school. If a student comes to school in proper dress code and warm verses arrrving to school cold or choosing not to even come to school due to lack of warm clothing to get to school, this will greatly impact the mental health and academics of each econmovially disadvantaged scholar. These jackets will allow me to meet with the scholar and parent to offer a jacket.
