This will close the learning gap to meet standards in the following areas below. Zoology 2.2 The students will review and describe the characteristics that distinguish life from nonlife. Zoology 3.2 The student will explore the role of natural selection as an agent of evolution Zoology 4.1 The student will identify the major characteristics of aquatic ecosystems Zoology 4.3 The student will depict trophic relationships between organisms in food chains and food webs Zoology 8.4 The student will compare and contrast digestion, food capture, locomotion, and reproduction of Poriferans. Zoology 8.6 The student will compare and contrast digestion, food capture, locomotion, and reproduction in Cnidarians. Zoology 10.3 The student will relate anatomical and behavioral differences of Bivalvia, Gastropoda, and Cephalopoda to their particular lifestyles.
