Due to Covid students missed many of the basic skills necessary for academic growth in first grade. These items will give students the foundational skills necessary to interact with their peer in a collaborative emvironment and build the foundational skills missed during pandemic learning. RF.1 Demonstrate understanding of the organization and basic features of print. RF.2 Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes). RF.3 Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words ME.1.1 Recognize the relationship between emotions and actions. (Per NRS 389.520) ME.1.2 Demonstrate how to express emotions in healthy ways.
