These supplies will not only help advance our students' love of learning (I team with two other teachers, so really, you're helping three classes with this!), they will help them communicate their thinking more effectively. This year, we've found that our students can explain their thought processes aloud fairly well, but they struggle to get their ideas down on paper. By providing supplies to show how fossils form and making our casts, colorful poster boards to explain how they would help reduce the impact of erosion and natural disasters, and completing finished projects that are clean and organized with higher quality paper and ink, they can be proud of what they accomplish.
