We have a school-wide incentive program called Catch-a Cash. When students demonstrate exceptional behavior or going above and beyond during a task, they are rewarded with Catch-a Cash. During Friday recess, students can spend their Catch-a Cash on rewards and prizes in our student-run store. Having sports-themed items in our school store will motivate students to continue to improve their behavior. Being able to choose from an assortment of sports items will make our incentive program stronger. Our Catch-a Cash program addresses math standards in all grade levels (such as K.CC.A.1, K.CC.B.5, 1.NBT.A.1, 2.NBT.B.5, and 3.NBT.A.2) because students are counting tickets, adding totals, and determining change when using their Catch-a Cash to make a purchase. This program also provides Social Emotional Learning opportunities and positive reinforcement.
